Polyform makes a variety of custom products in order to serve its clients’ specific needs. Once the manufacturing process is determined, Polyform will plan the production of the product - determining the raw materials and density necessary in accordance with the client’s deadlines.

Automobile Industry

Expanded plastics (especially EPP and EPE) have become very popular in the automotive industry for use in shock absorbers, packaging, and containers used to transport assembly line products. Polyform has produced a number of products for some of the most notable automakers in the industry.

Recreational Industry

Polyform has supplied custom products for ship hull waterlines, off-road vehicles and other recreational vehicles for years. Many pool distributors also use Polyform’s products to make or seal in-ground or above-ground pools.

Construction Industry

In addition to offering a comprehensive line of products to serve the construction industry’s diverse needs, Polyform can also design insulation products in accordance with the specific requirements of a project or line of products required on the market. Polyform can create insulation sheets that are cut or molded, interlocked, with strips, following your specifications.

Polyform’s insulation sheets are currently available in several dimensions (2' x 4', 2' x 8', 4' x 8', etc.) or are custom-cut to suit your specific needs. The thickness of the insulation sheets can also be tailored to your requirements.

Polyform also develops specific insulation products for acrylic applications, lightweight backfill blocks, laminated insulated boards and roof insulation.

Insulation for acrylic applications

Many housing projects using acrylic finishes have been completed using Polyform’s insulation products. Polyform’s 2’ x 4’ square boards come in various thicknesses and are cut in large blocks of specific grades in order to meet the requirements of an acrylic application. Once installed on walls, any of the brands and styles of acrylic finishes can be applied on the insulation to produce the desired effect.

Lightweight backfill blocks

Polyform’s backfill blocks are used in the construction of roads, bridge access connections, viaducts and other projects where unstable soil is present. This type of product provides greater stability, considerably reduces the backfill weight and thus, the subfloor load. Since its establishment, Polyform has produced large blocks destined for the cutting process. Polyform has the experience and the technology to readily meet the requirements of all your backfill projects.

Applications

Laminated insulated boards

With its lamination process, Polyform can complete a multitude of projects that meet the needs of the construction industry. Essentially, Polyform can deliver turnkey insulation products with aspinite, wood, pre-finish etc. to your offices or directly to your job site. This way, you don’t have to worry about the post-insulation installation, thereby saving you time and money.

Applications

Roof insulation

Used for both new roofs and the renovated roofs of commercial or industrial buildings, Polyform’s flat and slope insulation products are a great way to extend the life of a roof. For sloped roofs, they allow accumulated water to go to drainage sources following the specifications of flat roofs. Once a plan is established, a sketch is sent to the production department and to the job site foreman to ensure the proper installation of the product.

Roof insulation can also be laminated to the type of board specified by your architects.

Today’s protective equipment must be light and durable to improve the performance and comfort of athletes and sports enthusiasts. A leader in the production of protective helmets, Polyform has the necessary experience in developing and producing a wide range of protective equipment components. Packaging

Polyform develops and manufactures a variety of custom packaging products for clients with large assembly lines or very specific and complex projects. Polyform’s molding, cutting, and assembly processes have always ensured excellent results. Polyform can produce the perfect packaging for your electronics or household appliances, pharmaceutical products, furniture, doors and windows, and more.

Containers

Although Polyform can make a wide range of insulated boxes, some clients create their own containers for more specific uses. Polyform can either develop tools or use your own tools to make containers adapted to your specific requirements. Beehives and worm boxes are two good examples of containers that Polyform can customize for you. Since cardboard containers do not have an insulation factor, Polyform can also create insulated and ready-to-assemble EPP containers (stand-alone or assembled with cardboard) via a cutting process.

Components

Polyform manufactures many components for the automotive and recreational industries having very specific uses – such as EPP wheel brackets found in car trunks or small EPP parts used to fill or shape recreational vehicles. Expanded plastics are also found in household appliances, electronics, showers and baths, etc.
