ECONOMICAL OPTIONS TO FILL YOUR PRODUCTS
Expanded plastics are ideal for cushioning products. Whether they are used to fill beanbag chairs, floating structures (docks, floaters, etc.), pillows, couches, toys or other products, there are several materials available, depending on the quality and the durability desired.
EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE (EPS)
EPS beads are made of 98% air and 2% materials. It is is lightweight, easy to handle and can be used in many products.
EXPANDED POLYPROPYLENE (EPP)
Although EPP has similar properties as EPS, the difference lies in the shape memory allowing to deform without breaking and maintain its structure. Expanded polypropylene beads are used when durability and comfort are important for the product.
EXPANDED POLYETHYLENE (EPE)
EPE beads have practically the same properties as EPP, but with greater elasticity. This material is used when bending and impact resistance are important.
