    • AIRCLAD®: AIR BARRIER INSULATION BOARD

    This rigid, high-density expanded polystyrene board is laminated with an air-barrier membrane.  It combines Polyform’s insulation boards performance with the efficiency of an air-barrier membrane, permeable to water vapour.

    FEATURES

    1 in. (25 mm), 1½ in. (38 mm) and 2¼ in. (56 mm) standard thicknesses. Different thicknesses are available upon request.
    R factors of R-4, R-6, and R-8
    It is laminated on one side with an air-barrier membrane with printed reference points every 8 inches (203 mm)
    Eliminates thermal bridges
    Contains recycled material
    Can help gain points in a LEED® project

    AIRCLAD

    1. Apply to exterior walls only.
    2. Install AIRCLAD® boards vertically or horizontally on exterior wall studs, making sure
    the air-barrier membrane is facing toward the exterior.
    3. Attach boards using mechanical anchoring.
    4. Seal joints with air-barrier adhesive tape.
    5. Align AIRCLAD® joints with wall studs.
