Granby, Qc, Monday January 18th, 2016 – On January 13th, Polyform has been certified ECORESPONSIBLETM, level 1 – ENGAGEMENT. This certification aims to elaborate an action plan in order to maximize the management of sustainable development.
In scope of its ECORESPONSIBLETM certification, Polyform commits to enhance its internal communication, elaborate a responsible purchasing politic (including responsible management of raw materials), improve its waste management using the 4RU (rethink the needs, reduce at the source, reuse, recycle and upgrade) and to ameliorate its energy performance.
An action plan has been designed to meet all those strategies and will be applied at every level of the business. Thereby, Polyform will optimize the management of sustainable development in its head office as well as in its plastic manufacturing and recycling sites.
